It may be that if you feel you are addicted to smoking, but you are actually just so used to smoking at certain times of the day and it is that association with smoking that has led you to believe that quitting would be difficult. In fact, once you become a non-smoker you’ll find that nicotine leaves the body within 24 to 48 hours, and therefore, being a smoker is not an addiction! Smoking can feel like a friend, helping you through life, always at your side… but smoking is actually an abusive, one-sided relationship!
