Hypnotherapy accesses the unconscious mind to release resistance from negative beliefs, so you can give yourself permission to allow your desire for change to become your reality.


Hypnosis is a powerful technique that will assist you to change the unconscious programming of your mind that is creating your automatic reactions and behaviours in the life you currently live. We will examine the patterns and associations that your mind has formed, and how you experience them in your everyday life. You know them as the thoughts you have, the feelings in your body, your emotions, your self-talk, and how you behave, or react, to people and situations. We all seek to play out our familiar patterns throughout our life in an attempt to release negative blocks and improve our relationships and experience of life.

It doesn’t matter how much you consciously want something, if there are unconscious blocks or patterns, they will need to be changed if you are to have different results.  For example, you might consciously really want to stop smoking or to lose weight, but no matter how hard you try, you just can’t seem to stay on track.

To change unconscious patterns we need to access the subconscious part of the mind, and we do this though hypnosis.

 

Addictions & Habits

Addictions and habits are formed in the part of the mind that is subconscious. Hypnotherapy is very successful in treating issues such as smoking, alcoholism, gambling, drug use, nail biting, because the programming for these behaviours can only be changed by accessing the unconscious mind. No amount of willpower can ensure success without future setbacks, but hypnosis bypasses the need for willpower to drive the change you desire.

Become a Non-Smoker

Become a true non-smoker - not just a smoker who is courageously resisting cigarettes. How? Everyone knows someone who has quit smoking but still says they’d like one with a drink, or after a meal. And what a terrible place that is to be. Having to deny yourself something you want all the time. That’s why I use an approach that helps you become a true non-smoker, not just someone who is resisting smoking. The ‘stopped smoker’ courageously resists having a cigarette, while the non-smoker couldn’t think of anything worse than smoking. That’s if they give it a thought at all.

Confidence & Self-Esteem

Self-Esteem is a measure of how you think and feel about yourself in relation to other people. When you compare yourself to others and see them as “better” than you, you will be most likely lack confidence, feel anxious and generally think negatively. Therapeutic hypnosis is a wonderful technique used to build up feelings of self-confidence, calm and relaxation, which reduces stress, self-doubt and negative self-talk.

Weight management is challenging, even for the most committed person. The truth is that diets don’t work. You know this is true because every diet you have tried has worked for a while but eventually you put all the weight back on, plus more. My approach is different. This is not an instant fix – it is a lifestyle and mindset change. The change occurs through developing a new relationship with food, your body and yourself.
